Sitting at platform no 1 of Kathgodam railway station. Waiting to get inside the train New Delhi Shatabdi (12039) which is firmly locked. In the meantime a public announcement has been started telling us that this train is on platform no 1 (which we know ) and that we should take our seats (.which we are surely unable to do). The announcement has been going on unstopped at a high pitch for the last 20 minutes - and tiresomely repetitive. Waste of energy, noise pollution and shows complete disregard for saving energy which the honourable Prime Minister has requested in his recent appeal. @RailMinIndia @RailwaySeva @RailwayNorthern @PTI_News

Some experiences raise your faith in good human nature. I just bought a I phone charging cable at ‘Daily Needs’ shop in Terminal 2 of Mumbai airport. The charger didn’t work because of a problem in the I-Phone charging point. Anjul from Daily Needs noticed this and realised that I didn’t need a new charging cable. He came to the business lounge took the cable returned it to his shop. Not only this but he brought back the refund right away. Most unexpected and and a very pleasant surprise. Thanks Anjul.
