Codex pro tip If you’re generating images and need cutout transparency, ask codex to color map the cutout areas to then replace it with the transparent sections manually after the fact.
How to traverse the Swift Source Code: applying design patterns We can get a lot of mileage out of a single AST node expression, now that we know what to look for. We can see the DynamicTypeExpr node go through various layers of the AST. One trick to moving between layers is understanding the design patterns applied. Once the AST is generated, nodes are traversed using the visitor pattern, so we find a lot of functions called visitDynamicTypeExpr. This “visit X” pattern is applied across virtually every type of instruction in the AST, in various contexts. The most important visitor pattern takes us to our next layer: SILGen. Amongst my friends, Spotify is the lowest quality consumer app we still pay for. It certainly hasnt gotten noticeably better in the last couple years (arguably worse). So, this is not the positive look Ant and Spotify are spinning here. Bigger picture, this is the problem with a lot of AI reporting. It reports completely meaningless metrics like deploys per day or LoC. Why don’t we start reporting consumer satisfaction reports? Actually end state research results. All the no nuance AI people always come out and think that this is anti AI. Again, I think AI is great and Claude is great. But this is bad marketing and makes both look like clowns.
