Not preachy, not intense. Good for discussions of different family constellations.

@bfwriter My observation is that most teachers in underperforming schools are struggling to raise scores for the lowest performers and high performers are left to fend for thenselves until they are no longer performing above level. Only then do they merit attention.

@bfwriter Having worked in said unsafe urban schools for many years, yes. Many students are underserved. But as you said, the gifted of those schools even more so. And they are not all traditional minorities.
