@SportsRadio810 @SorenPetro @KSeaboldt They can’t really change the schedule too much because the Euro Cup is 2 years after the World Cup. The Euro Cup is almost as big as WC -not including Argentina, Brazil, Mexico &the US. For the women the year after the WC is the best fit.

Due to fifa's new H2H rules, for the first time in World Cup history, we will see 2 teams actively wanting to lose a match. In the Austria vs Algeria match, both teams are safely through after beating Jordan due to the new H2H rule. However, the team that finishes in 2nd in Group J will face Spain, when the team that finishes 3rd will likely face Switzerland. Obviously with neither team wanting to face Spain, Austria will be hoping to lose and drop down to 3rd, whilst Alergia will be hoping for a draw or a loss to stay 3rd... What a bizarre outcome this is.. 🤯

Several things can lead to the 2026 @FIFAWorldCup being a disaster: - Firstly, everything is far too expensive - Secondly, tickets have been scalped to high heaven - Third, Donald Trump has managed to make travel extremely expensive, with his war in Iran - Fourth, people don't want to go to a country with terrible infrastructure where they may get arrested or shot because they don't like Trump, Vance, Charlie Kirk, etc.
