@kinghamzy Yes, you will need to install the latest version of Excel to access certain functions.
However, in some instances, you can still enter the function, and Excel will recognize it even if it's not the updated version.
As long as it is entered in the correct format.

Mini-Thread: Most Useful SQL Commands for Absolute Beginners
If you're just starting data analysis in Nigeria, master these 3 first.
They cover 80% of what you'll do daily.
1. Basic SELECT + WHERE
2. GROUP BY + Aggregations
3. JOINs (start simple)
Let’s break them down 👇
GROUP BY + COUNT()
This helps you answer business questions like:
- How many sales per region?
- Top products by revenue?
Example:
SELECT
region,
COUNT(*) as total_transactions,
SUM(amount) as total_revenue
FROM sales
GROUP BY region
ORDER BY total_revenue DESC;
SQL Tip that changed everything for me:
Always start with SELECT * FROM your_table LIMIT 10;
before writing long queries
Saves you from running expensive mistakes on big company data

Python for Absolute Beginners:
Use pandas like this:
df = pd.read_excel('sales.xlsx')
df.head() → see your data instantly
Then df.isnull().sum() to find missing values.
Simple right?
