I'm just saying from my perspective. For example, if a guest account maxes out their high score (like, let's say it's some random kid in middle school or someone wasting time), and he decides to max out his high score, how would other players feel? I don't think it would be a huge issue, but I'm just thinking, if the entire game is filled with guests, what are the chances that in the future, if Hytopia does grows even faster than it already is now, botting becomes an issue and non-stop guest accounts are there. For example, some Roblox games are botted to inflate numbers to make them look better. And botting overall is just something that will be in every single aspect where numbers are shown. But at the same time, if users start playing on a Hytopia and leaderboards are filled with guest accounts that are having numbers, and even yes, if there is a grinding mechanic still, I'm just saying, how would it be seen overall for users playing. I don't think it's a huge issue at the end of the day, but it's just something that I'm thinking of. Will guest accounts be a permenant or a halfway feature? I mean, I guess it can be seen like a free trial and then paying a subscription, but.... The whole reason Roblox removed it was because of botting, and during the time when forums were still a thing in Roblox, it caused mass controversy too.

was playing the Steal My Brainrot game on the Hy and thinking about @hytopia games. guest accounts are cool for letting people try games but it gets weird for leaderboards. what happens when a guest gets a high score and just leaves? that score is stuck there from a random person. dealt with this on my own game "the stack " when i built it on farcaster and stopped it overall. so what do we do? separate leaderboards? guest scores get wiped? would like to hear thoughts on this since roblox used to do guest accounts curious to this

Reading this, even though I don't really know about the whole staking side of things, I'm just thinking of revenue (as a dev). It would actually be pretty cool to see people just invest in games they think have potential. Pretty interesting concept I can see happening see on @hytopia

@adonishy I think you're getting the staking confused, as I understood it we could stake into individual games not the whole overall platform meaning we can choose what games to support and thus glean revenue from, this will even the returns and boost new games because the new

@adonishy @hytopia running the guantlet tonight, but since it was my first week back and im adjusting to all the new things, im planning on making it as long as i finish the game

technically im up to day 5/7 drake rollout set me back i really have to stop procrastinating but one thing about taking long to understand something like the @hytopia map builder glad it took me 3 days to learning how to use this really easy You can really speedrun a lot (never knew it had models too) right now all i need to do is make the platform in the middle of the island, I dont know how big or small I want it to be gonna stream the build part once the map is done p.s. lowkey wasted time generating AI textures i never used

i just realized will there be follower counts and badges in @hytopia would love to have it to see if we could have creator badges or see how many people we are following or even following a studio to make it easier to find games.

I did my first stream for @hytopia - game map is 35%-50% done - spent a solid hour just planning block textures and generating textures - the ai modeling to generate structures had issues 🙃(couldnt generate a dock among other things) - got basically 2 things done in 1.5 hours 4/10 work session for me might have to pull an offstreamer and just focus on building the map manually instead of using AI so i dont fail my challenge 3/7 days left for game 1

@HerculesLegend Makes sense at this rate to stick to YouTube as Hytopia will be for all audiences but I could see it mainly for young kids/teens primarily

was chopping it up w/ a friend about streaming while making a map with the build hytopia site. ( it has ai tools check it out) We were talking about what I currently stream on, (kick) vs the alternatives(YT, Twitch, pump fun) btw this all stemmed from pump fun streaming being a topic between us but i realized i want to build a whole brand in a way like @adonishy just with the content creation aspect to it like showcase my though process and all so the play is official: locking in on YouTube. would be easier since kick unfortunately has its ups and downs building for the long game. gonna work on a map building tomorrow lol
