“You would come see me and my band? I’d love that. I’d put you front row and center.” Vin said with a grin on his face as he pulled into the restaurant’s parking lot and parked and looked over at Skylar and smiled. “You know what? I’m glad I invited you.” He said then he unfastened his seatbelt and got out. He met her at the passenger side of the car, opening the door for her and shutting it after she got out. He hooked their arms and together they walked into the restaurant and were quickly seated. The waitress handed them their menus and asked for their drinks orders and he ordered a sweet tea and he remained quiet until Skylar ordered whatever she wanted. He then opened his menu and his eyes grazed over it. “I’m in the mood for the biggest, juiciest burger ever with some fries I think.” He said even though the menu had everything from breakfast food to Chinese and everything in between.

He listened to her as he drove, thinking to himself that Skylar sounded like quite the interesting woman. “Well.. I’m single and a bit of a dork sometimes. I’d like to think that I’m funny and have a good sense of humor and overall good personality. I’m caring and kind, but also have a temper but it’s rare for anyone to bring it out of me.” He told her as he turned to look at her as he stopped at a red light. “I like the same things you do, but I’m also big into the music scene since I’m the lead singer of a band.” He said with a smile as he shifted his gaze back out to the road ahead when the light changed back to green. “You should come see me perform sometime.” He mentioned as he turned down the road the restaurant was on.

“Not a fussy eater, hm? I like that.” He said as he started the car and smiled over at Skylar. “If that’s the case I’ll take you to my favorite restaurant. They serve a little bit of everything, so I think you’ll like it.” He told her as he backed out of his parking place then shifted into drive and started towards said restaurant. “Tell me a little about yourself. I know you’re beautiful, have a lovely name, and aren’t a picky eater. What else is there to know about you?” He asked her with a curious expression on his face.

The walk to his car was a short one and after unlocking it with his key fob he opened the passenger side door for Skylar like the gentleman he was raised to be. After she would get in, he would shut the door behind her and go and get in the drivers seat. He fastened his seat belt and looked over at her with a curious smile on his face. “What’s your favorite kind of food? I want to take you somewhere you’ll like.”

“Skylar, hm? I like that name. It suits you.” He said in a friendly tone of voice. He chuckled when he heard her and nodded. “I am offering to take you out, but the biting part is optional.” Vin teased her with a wink of his eye and a grin on his face. He then proceeded to offer her his arm to link hers with so he could lead the way to his car.

When she smiled and nodded Vin walked over to her and held out his hand politely for her to shake. “I’m Vincent, by the way.” He introduced himself and gave her small hand a gentle shake. He let go of her hand and put both hands into the front pockets of his pants. “It’s going good so far. I’m getting ready to go grab a bite to eat if you’re hungry?”
