Let me explain. The reason I brought up Adobe is because it is caught in a similar narrative as Google was 6 months ago. Everybody (and I mean *everybody*) currently believes that Adobe is dead in the water because of GenAI disruption (just like they did for Google previously). As a result, ADBE has been aggressively selling off for ~2 years and now has its lowest PE and forward PE in modern history (post-cloud), with a forward PE of only 14-15. There's just one small problem: the narrative is dead wrong -- just like it was for Google. Adobe is not StackOverflow or Chegg. No one is canceling their Photoshop subscription because they started using GenAI, which would be completely obvious if investors had any familiarity with Adobe products and their customers / use cases. Adobe has been growing revenue at a steady 10%/year since the rise of GenAI (with earnings growing by 10-15%), and there's no sign of usage slowing down. Not just that, but it's likely GenAI will actually turn into a tailwind, letting Adobe ship better features and deepen its moat. GenAI is a commodity tech now and tends to help established players. Obviously none of this is investment advice. I don't have a crystal ball, so I don't know *when* the bearish narrative will reverse -- but I do expect Adobe to keep posting strong on-trend numbers for Q3 (Dec 10), then Q4, then Q1. At some point investors will have to notice and update their incorrect beliefs -- like for Google earlier this year. But that might take a long while. @buccocapital FYI

Adobe.. has released a tool that combines Generative Gaussian Splats with a Diffusion layer and it's not all over the internet? WHAT IS GOING ON :D I had to test this out ofc! Substance 3D viewer, the new 3d viewer just released by Adobe, not only supports viewing of a large, large list of 3d formats, but it also supports generating of 3d models as Gaussian Splats. Combine that with the built-in 3d to image functionality and you basically have at least a few of the steps I've been doing for the last year or so using multiple tools. Exciting stuff! The new Photoshop Beta also supports the 3D viewer and you can import 3d files directly in photoshop as smart objects linked to the viewer. The elements you prompt in based on your models, can be easily exported to your clipboard without backgrounds making it very easy to use this in your normal image editing workflows. I have a suspicion that we'll see much more of this in other Adobe tools and I'm very curious to see this used for things like this in more 3d tools than "just" Adobe Neo (which is fantastic btw). #adobe #art #gaussiansplatting
