The bitcoin 4-year cycle was a trend. Market trends have a half life that goes like this; 1. Smart money discovers a pattern and trades it for profit. 2. Early dumb money catches on and replicates the trade for profit. 3. Smart money realizes dumb money has caught on and front-runs the trend for profit. 4. Late dumb money that didn't catch on continues to trade the trend for losses. 5. The trend dissipates. The 4-year bitcoin cycle was predicated on mining supply halving every four years, which meant less demand was required to soak up the newly mined liquidity and push price higher. As of the last 'halving' newly mined supply is now a rounding error compared to combined demand from ETF's, spot, institutions, futures and options markets. The trend no longer exists and the dumb money hasn't figured it out yet.

There’s no 4-year $BTC cycle. There’s a 54-year human-liquidity cycle. Bitcoin was born at its reset. SPX/GOLD still climbing → secular bull alive. FX liquidity ratio compressing → patience, not panic. Real top comes when liquidity breaks down, not when halving memes peak.
