Year 4 has been learning new vocabulary to describe people using bilingual dictionaries.
Children in year 3 have been practising introductions and asking for basic information with Role Plays.
Year 5 has been practising the conjugation of Spanish verbs while playing a traditional Spanish board game.
They could benefit from the linguistic expertise of one their peers.
Chiendren in Y4 have been reading a book in Spanish and answering comprehension questions.
And a final competition.
Children in Y5 have been learning about Spanish speaking American countries linked to their American theme day.
Year 2 children have been learning the new song "globos globos" learning colours and actions.
Children in Y2 have been learning lots of fun new songs and practised their Spanish with role plays. We even had a film director!
Y6 has been learning how to ask and follow directions in Spanish following instructions on a map.
Y5 Has enjoyed a morning outdoors practising some listening skills and giving directions in Spanish to find the hidden treasure.

With Quizlet year 4 children have been working in teams to compete against the rest of the class. Great to develop team work skills.
In year 5 children have been playing 'Akinator' to encourage them to read in Spanish with the help of dictionaries and google translate.
Kahoot lesson.
During Spanish we use Kahoot regularly. Kahoot is an online learning tool that is engaging and gives instant feedback to children.
Year 2 learning Spanish with traditional games like rock-paper-scissors.
