#MAPSE (aka left ventricular atrioventricular plane displacement, AVPD) has independent prognostic association beyond GLS in HFrEF. Berg J, et al, ESC Heart Fail, 2022 pubmed.gov/35411699
The difficulty of learning PoCUS lung ultrasound is beyond the technicality. It is needed a good knowledge of medicine and especially a deep consideration of a clinical interpretation of imaging. Not easy to learn for a student and to transmit for a teacher.
