Using the 4% rule that would equate to $29,000 in today's dollars of income for a 30 year retirement. Hmmm. Not quite enough. And what do they live on during their pre-retirement adult years from 18 to 65. Good idea but need more than $10,000.

@GovTimWalz The multiplier is a myth. You are ignoring half the transaction. Yes giving money to people leads to more spending but to give government must take from another causing less spending. The two cancel out. I am sure you know this. You are obviously politicizing for personal gain.

@stephenquinntv @7News Price caps result in shortages. This is basic Econ 101, intuitive, and economic history is replete with examples. It is hard to believe that politicians are still proposing price caps as a solution to affordability.
