@Donnaxj600s @MrBoothY6 Has she found they help? My daughter has tinted lenses but not the official Irlens ones and she's not sure if they help as much as the overlays and coloured paper. But the Irlens ones are so expensive.

@WhistleblowingT My daughter has been off school since Easter. I got 2 days paid compassionate leave. After that it's unpaid parental leave for maximum of 4 weeks per year.

@louiseUrquhart3 @CensoredHead An interesting read. My daughter has Irlens, is very bright but struggles with spelling and getting her thoughts onto paper. Dyslexia screening was normal but I suspect her intelligence is masking dylexia as she has a fantastic working memory.

@Headteacherchat My children went to school with PAN of 34. They split classes on age so youngest 26 in straight YR, oldest 8YR with youngest 20 Y1 and so on thru school. They would then come together as year groups for some yr specific subjects. Not ideal. They've since reduced their PAN to 30.
@DeputyGrocott We've got the Lakeland two drawer. It's been great. Family of four. A medium chicken will fit in the large side. We mainly use it for easy food for kids, fish fingers, chips etc. We've tried a cake but wasn't great and can only fit small pizzas but highly recommend.
