No, there’s no such thing as a “Israel is a uniquely evil” society. You can’t dehumanize an entire population based on polls or political trends—we as Palestinians have been dehumanized for the very same reason. Every society has its problems. Israeli society is also the one where people take to the streets daily, holding photos of children killed in Gaza and demanding an end to the war. Blanket vilification is lazy, dangerous, and no different from the hate and racism I’ve fought against my whole life. I refuse to let my people’s suffering be used to justify the dehumanization of others. Stop it.

I repeat: Israel is a uniquely evil society. It's not just the leaders. It's not just the fringe wingnuts. It's a whole country full of sociopaths. Israel's atrocities in Gaza are the result of what Israelis are as a whole. The entire nation is heartless and fucked in the head.

The final warning. Chilling words from Israel's Defence Minister to the people of Gaza, as he threatens them with obliteration. He demands they leave their homes, but where on earth can they go? This isn't a warning, it's a death sentence. We can't say we didn't know.

If Hamas had killed 7 Israelis inside of Israel this week, it would be one of the biggest stories in the world, & all over the US media. But Israel killed 7 HUNDRED Palestinians this week, including almost 200 children, & yet there's little outrage from our politicians or media.

This to me is the ultimate ass showing: “It (still) doesn’t matter if it’s completely inaccurate, because it gives me ‘good’ ideas to start from” might be the perfect encapsulation of what we’re dealing with here.

We are outraged after an Israeli drone strike almost hit 5 of our Palestinian and international staff on their way home from Nasser hospital in Khan Younis. As always, the Israeli authorities were notified about our movements and the vehicle was identifiable with an MSF logo. This attack, which occurred on the afternoon of 20 November, killed 20 people and seriously injured 10 others according to the Ministry of Health. These indiscriminate attacks on civilians and healthcare must stop. “Repeated security incidents in the humanitarian zone pose a real threat to the safety of our staff and patients and the continuity of our activities in Gaza. So, just so you get the full picture: In October 2023, following a history of taking part in anti-Palestinian terrorism, this guy, Shuva'el Ben Natan, murders a Palestinian harvesting olives. Instead of being jailed, he is recruited to the reserves. His intention is to take revenge on Palestinians, any Palestinians. He proceeds to serve in Gaza, unauthorizedly burning houses, murdering Palestinians, including women and children, as many as he was able to. He is then transferred to Lebanon, to continue his killing spree there, and the only thing that stops him, eventually, are the local resistance fighters. Without them, he would've probably just kept on killing indiscriminately. In his (military) funeral, his friends openly talk about his war crimes, the ones he intended to commit and the ones he committed. After the funeral videos go viral, a few Israelis express outrage, and are now being silenced by other Israelis who claim it is disrespectful to talk that way about a "hero" who "died to defend us". Meanwhile, while covering the funeral, Israeli mainstream media intentionally omitted the "controversial" parts of the eulogies. None of the guilty parties, of course, is gonna pay any price for all this shit. This is Israel in 2024.
