Alright, full disclosure time: I’ve gotta come clean. 🤷 Some of y’all called me out in the comments, and fine — you win. I can’t confidently claim I speak for ALL Floridians. Mostly because I haven’t personally polled all 23.7 million of us yet... Let's break down the math on who I'm actually representing here. First, there are roughly 1 million LGBTQIA2S+ folks in Florida. Given that we have zero common ground, they’re out. Then there’s the 4 million Democrat problem we’re actively working to resolve. But to be fair, about 980,000 members of the Skittles crowd are already double-counted in that group, so let’s call it an added 1 million. That puts us at negative 3 million, leaving 20.7 million remaining. Knock off another million for guys with man buns and ladies in "dress for the job you want" whore costumes — St. Pete and Miami are doing heavy lifting for those stats. Down to 18.7 million. Next, subtract the New York, Jersey, and Boston transplants who REFUSE to drop the accent despite living in 105° paradise, and we’re at 12.7 million left. Toss out the socks-and-sandals Canadians, the European speedo dudes, and the miscellaneous twits from Ohio, and now we’re at 10.4 million. We can’t forget the Native Indians either — scratch their 200k. Sorry, General Thomas Jesup already disqualified them back in the 1800s. That leaves 10.2 million. Finally, we’ve got the people holding up the line at 7-Eleven buying lottery tickets. There’s about 1.5 million of them, but I’m deducting an extra 500k purely on principle for the emotional damage caused by waiting ten minutes just to buy a 6-pack. That leaves us with approximately 8.2 million actual, certified native Floridians. So according to my questionable math, I’ve still got roughly 1,252,368 people left to meet before I can officially delete this bio disclaimer. 👍🏻
