Minting a token is the part everyone shows you. It is also the easy part, and it is one step out of many. Consider what actually stands behind a single tokenized asset. Due diligence before issuance. The legal and structuring work. The issuance itself. Primary distribution. Secondary trading. And then the unglamorous part that never ends: lifecycle management, corporate actions, reporting, redemptions. Getting one token minted can involve half a dozen providers before the asset ever reaches an investor. Most projects do one slice of that and call it tokenization. What does tokenizing a building actually get you? Instead of one owner or a few big investors, a property can be split into many small pieces. You own a slice, collect your share of the rent automatically, and sell that slice when you want, without waiting months for a sale to close. Real estate has always been valuable but slow and hard to exit. Tokenization keeps the value and removes the friction.
