@dearmadisonblue The industry had to replace the classical deductive vs abductive terminology bc enuf ink had been spilt already (in philosophy) detailing how authentic abduction has limits to what aspects're modelable. Most of the inductive (type) problems are really about how these interface.

Philosophy or "providing orientation" seeks to be *eventually* reduced to praxis rather than originate there.

@jessi_cata Also, the path-(in)dependence characterizations change by context. Intuitionistic logic is path-ind at the prop syntax level—but intuitionistic methods in HoTT/higher cat oft work over path-dep structures (sheaves, ∞-categories, ∞-groupoids) to define their internal logics.

@jessi_cata Why one cannot easily find people of intuitionistic/constructivistic persuasion lending much credence to effective or use-based desiderata. They are compelling desiderata, for sure. But they're limited. Overplay'g their own leanness bc these are structural not actual guarantees.
