It is now the first U.S. state to have divested its own funds from Israeli genocide and apartheid, after the Office of the State Treasurer sold its Caterpillar bonds, worth over $53 million. Caterpillar’s bulldozers have been used extensively during the Gaza genocide and for decades to destroy Palestinian lives, homes, and infrastructure. I'll never forget how the Israelis bombed al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza in October 2023 and the world was shocked and horrified. Israel denied it, saying they would never commit such a heinous crime. Then they went on to bomb every single hospital in Gaza. Now they are doing the same in Lebanon and Iran. The Israelis have bombed at least 128 medical facilities and ambulances across south Lebanon. In Iran, the US and Israel have bombed 25 hospitals and medical centres. In Lebanon, they are committing double tap strikes to kill medics and rescue workers, just as they did in Gaza. Medics are forced to delay their responses. These monsters are normalizing war crimes that were once unthinkable.

There is something deeply grotesque about a society that calls itself "the land of the free" while operating the largest prison system on Earth. That calls itself "defender of democracy" while sabotaging elections abroad. That cries about "terror" while dropping bombs on schools and weddings. You try to point this out, and somehow you become the extremist.

I don’t know what to say today. We are ruled by abusive monsters. The US is preparing for war with Iran. They’re going in for the kill shot on Cuba. The latest batch of Epstein emails looks horrifying. The US is full of protests because ICE keeps killing people. Israel is still massacring civilians in Gaza as Australia prepares to host its president for an extended visit. Reuters has confirmed that Biden officials actively obstructed the circulation of internal USAID reports that Gaza was being turned into a nightmarish hellscape in early 2024. There’s so much cruelty. So much abuse. You’d think all this evidence that we are ruled by deranged psychopaths would unite us against them, but it doesn’t. The population is more angrily, bitterly divided against itself than ever. Political discourse has gotten as intensely vitriolic as I’ve ever seen it as Trump supporters take their stand behind the current abuser-in-chief and defend the status quo warmongering and tyranny with all their might. Discussing politics on social media feels like stepping into an emotional blast furnace these days. They’ve done such a good job dividing us and conquering us. It’s really incredible how good at it they are. It would be awe-inspiring if it wasn’t so evil and destructive. I haven’t felt like I’m in the zeitgeist recently. Usually I feel like I’m surfing the crest of dissident political consciousness and can provide insight and information into what’s coming up for us as a collective, but everything’s been so chaotic and frenzied lately it’s like trying to ride a bucking bull. I don’t know if that makes any sense to anyone but me, but that’s what it feels like. I don’t really have anything to add to that right now. I try to write something every day, but today all I’ve got is a feeble “There’s so much cruelty, and it hurts.” It fucking hurts, man.

I have never seen Islam drop a bomb on a hospital. I have never seen Islam impose a starvation blockade. I have never seen Islam erase an entire city and call it precision. But I have seen all of that done in the name of fighting Muslims.

I did not fight for this country in the Marines so that a mother of three, an American citizen, could be gunned down in the street for no reason. That is not who we are. This must stop. Congress needs to stand up right now and hold DHS accountable. #NHpolitics

If you went to the funeral of every child killed in Gaza, you would be going to a different funeral every single day for 55 years. This is just for the documented children that were identifiable and reported to the Gaza Health Ministry before it was destroyed. Many were blown to bits beyond recognition, while others were crushed to death in their homes and remain under the rubble. But if you include the total amount of children murdered in Gaza, both directly from bombing and indirectly from starvation or otherwise, You would need to attend one funeral every single day for 1,041 years. Every child matters, not just the Israeli ones.

It’s offensive to the American people that social media influencers can secretly pocket money to push propaganda without ever telling you who’s funding them. If TV and radio must disclose “brought to you by…,” then influencers should too. And if they’re being paid by a foreign country, they must register under FARA. Period. Transparency matters!
