I am always testing everything when it comes to live selling on TT. Promoting Lives, promoting posts, running small giveaways all show, larger giveaways to buyers, larger giveaways less frequently. As of right now where I am seeing the least benefit is promoting the live show its self. Here are the results of promoting. Across 10 shows I paid $500 to promote the lives, it generated $98 dollars in sales. 17 new followers. Giveaways which we give a $5 e-gift card every 15 minutes, during one show the cost is $60-$70 and we typically gain 60 more followers per show than if we dont give anything away. Overall the rate is 20-30 per hour. We have a bunch of stats on GMV by followers vs not, followers spend more money per show than non followers. So to me keep increasing followers and GMV will continue to increase.

If you are a live seller and not running weekend morning shows you are missing out. We ran a 7am show today for a little over 4 hours and was record setting. 7.3k GMV! First hour from 7-8am we did 2k in GMV before most people are awake! Well I should say out of bed, because our viewers are awake but buying from their beds!

Pretty sure I caused a cancelation request today. We were running fragrances today along with our normal health & beauty items they all retail for $39.99 they were selling for $25-$30 a piece. Then I ran one we only had 1 of, I hyped it up a little and it sold for $65. It caught me off guard and I asked the chat is that scent discontinued? A couple minutes after that, she messaged us asking to cancel the order. Saying she didn’t mean to bid that high. I am betting if I just kept rolling she wouldn’t have thought twice and paid the $65. Either way we submitted the cancellation and will rerun it tomorrow.

I did not realize the mullet was making as big of a comeback as it is. Currently sitting at a 9 year olds birthday party and 6 out of the 8 boys are business in the front and party in the back.

When in small business sales. I worked with a gas station owner who told me that some owners will slow down the pumps to reduce their electric bill. Whether true or not, since then I have noticed pump speeds and avoid stations that are super slow. @gas_biz is this true?
