@LiangRhea We got here because we don’t have enough NTNs. Instead of expanding them (sensible) we did this (unhinged). I had hoped years of NHS service would be a prioritisation criteria. All this will do is devalue NTNs and increase CESR for cons jobs.

Agree on LEDs. BUT consultants were screwed over last time with promise of DDRB reform that never came. For me commitment to FPR is more important than single year deals.

1/ Personal view only, speaking as an LED doctor. I am not speaking on behalf of DAUK, the BMA or anyone else. I have had all night to think about the offer. There is a lot to like in it, especially for LEDs, but I remain reserved on the pay element.

@Ameer_Kotecha This is ill informed. London allowance is not for commuting costs (which are generally cheap that outside London) it’s for the cost of living here, which is higher irrespective of WFH.
