Only on Crime Watch: More bad news for Minneapolis public safety. We've reviewed a copy of a recent MPD supervisor focus group report which details that MPD supervisors are extremely dissatisfied with upcoming expectations of their duties and responsibilities, calling expectations "unrealistic," "idealistic," spurring burnout and prompting a desire for demotions rather than continue in the role. Some of the reasons cited were poor staffing conditions and increased workload.
