Never seen a more convincing talk on #angular template driven forms over Reactive forms than what @wardbell just gave at @ngconf! If you're still into Reactive Forms you might want to have a look at @formlydev which is Reactive Forms without the hassle egghead.io/courses/config…

@Bitcollage My advise is to not bother with the details of the low level api's, instead use @formlydev to be productive directly. It's an opinionated wrapper around Reactive Forms that allow you to use forms without writing any of the templates.
