@RobertaByTheSea @Acyn People that work for contractors that do govt work may or may not get back pay. No matter how long the shutdown is, at least some govt workers are not allowed to get temp jobs to help carry them through long shutdowns which can make things pretty tight.

@RobertaByTheSea @Acyn I'm not sure their pay ever stops, but maybe it does. All fed workers usually get full back pay once the shutdown is over. Depending on how long it lasts it can be pretty bad because bills still come, mortgage/rent still needs paying, etc. 1/2

@LepapillonBlu I will add that we take every precaution to keep me safe. I have not left the house since March 2020 and have no intention to do so until it's under control or I'm cleared for the vaccine.

@LepapillonBlu In theory yes. In practice, I'm not so sure. I am unvaccinated because my dr does not want me to get it just yet. Once I'm cleared to get it I will. My husband is vaxxed. I don't want to pay a higher premium when it's something I am unable, not unwilling to do

@BeaglesResist @UrbanAchievr It seems to work fine for the talking heads over on Faux News. They are all mandated to have the vaccine, but they just don't tell their viewers that and go right on spreading mis/disinformation.

@BeaglesResist @UrbanAchievr I've said this before and I'll say it again, there is NO public record of who has and has not had the vaccine. Get the damn life-saving medicine and don't tell anyone. Problem solved.
