After months (years) of waiting for a DNA sequencer w/: - no AI/model training on customer genomes - full deletion + sample destruction - built for computational/AI workflows, not consumer gimmicks I've finally found one that meets my criteria. Ordered and will share feedback!

@perelman020306 We’re exploring this as an option however the demand is less than you might think and the economics are brutal. You would actually have to pay 10x, maybe 20x to make it viable.

Today we’re introducing .genome, the first genome data file designed to be read by AI. .genome requires 3-10x fewer tokens than VCF and improves factual accuracy by 10-20x, meaning AI can answer faster, cheaper and more accurately. Together with .genome we’re releasing READMYGENOME.md, a Claude skill file built specifically to help AI read and interpret genomes.
