BREAKING: Ships are abandoning the U.S.-backed Omani corridor in the Strait of Hormuz and diverting to Iran-designated routes after the IRGC deployed patrol boats and began enforcing Tehran's transit orders, per Ship tracking data. The IRGC reportedly ordered vessels over VHF Channel 16 to use only Iran-approved routes, warning that unauthorized transit would carry consequences. Among the vessels affected were Taurus Leader, Chemroad Rose, Oriental Marguerite, Long Wind, Myrmidon, and African Oasis. Taurus Leader and Chemroad Rose reportedly turned back, while Oriental Marguerite and Long Wind switched from the Omani corridor to Iran's designated PGSA route. At least eight vessels attempting to exit the Gulf via the Omani corridor reportedly reversed course between Friday and Saturday, with several rerouting closer to Iran. The southern corridor once viewed as operating outside Iranian control is now reportedly being enforced by the IRGC, leaving commercial shipping with two choices: follow Tehran's instructions or turn back.

I don’t think people realise what we’re witnessing right now. Perhaps those behind their phone screens who are not in Tehran may never understand, but the atmosphere here is crazy. People are coming to Tehran from all over the world; from Russia, Brazil, Norway, Germany, … to attend the farewell ceremony for Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the martyred leader of Iran. Many from Tehran have made their homes available to visitors and many are on the streets with their own money giving people services such as free tea, food, … many are volunteering. Million, and I truly say MILLIONS are coming in and out the Prayer hall to pay their respects to the martyred leader. The surrounding areas OUTSIDE the prayer hall were PACKED and filled with people this morning during the prayers, thankfully with no incidents. A family member of mine is among the volunteers inside the prayer hall helping who’s been sleeping there since friday and has not left the area. Many people (that I personally know as well) who never attended a public march, decided to attend this one for the love of their leader. The magnitude of this event is beyond any words honestly.

We need to be crystal clear and blunt here: President Trump has no idea what he’s doing, and these actions, though he perceives they make him look tough, have no strategy tied to them, and will not accomplish anything of value for America. In fact, the most likely outcome is that Iran does what it now always does, and will retaliate in kind, and possibly even strike back against us bigger than what President Trump sent against Iran. America’s strategic petroleum reserve continues to dwindle, and the longer the SOH stays even partially closed, the more perilous our economic situation as a nation becomes. And SoH could be completely closed by the IRGC Navy – in which case we are going to be in serious trouble. Despite what President Trump wrote, there is no “finishing the job“ militarily because we don’t have the capacity to do that, or we would already have done so. This is more thoughtless use of military power, which will likely result in more harm to America. We need to be crystal clear on what is going on here: we are likely headed towards more turbulent times.
