@Brimstone1117 @brodiewankenobi 2. “It’s Propaganda. I love Star wars, I love the books.” I’M not so sure about that. You read any of the new books of the High Republic, you would see that it is based off of current events in an ambiguously nuanced way.

@Brimstone1117 @brodiewankenobi 1. Disney Star Wars isn’t Star Wars? Maybe you haven’t been paying attention in the last 12 years, but Disney Star Wars is DEFINITELY Star Wars. Maybe you’re just too poor to spend any money on Star Wars content. I get it, I’m poor too, because I thoroughly enjoy Disney products.

They also each get their own line of books -all taking place 100 years before the events of The Acolyte. Pretty cool right? So many great details of Star Wars during a golden age of the sacred Jedi fighting off a legion of cutthroat terrorizing raiders… 😬

I want to watch the Acolyte eventually, but what I want to enjoy even sooner? More High Republic novels like the soon to be released “Temptations of the Force” and the book after that. It’s for adults, and the kids and young adults are not excluded…

@xThrawn @thebengalorian @ComCodyCC2224 I just imagine EU is a distant cloudy dream in Luke’s imagination, then he woke up and was like “dank farrik this galaxy is quiet and nobody knows where the bad guys are hiding.” The EU is something I respect wholly towards the fans of it. I read the Jedi Prince series as a kid.

@TheOutlawTavern @StarCouncils The prequels were about Padme, Anakin, and Obi-Wan. OT was about Luke, Han and Leia. What’s wrong with having new faces whilst paying respect to the greats? Poe, Rey, and Finn were given the baton.
