Today Lithuania remembers the victims of Tuskulėnai. On 28 September 1944, Soviet security services began executions in Vilnius. Until April 1947, 767 people were executed and their bodies secretly buried in mass graves at Tuskulėnai Manor. The dead included Lithuanians, Poles, Belarusians, Latvians, Ukrainians and Jews. Among them were Lithuanian anti-Soviet resistance fighters, participants of the June 1941 Uprising and members of the Polish Armia Krajowa. Some had also been accused by Soviet tribunals of Nazi collaboration, participation in the Holocaust or crimes against civilians, accusations which must be considered in the context of the Stalinist justice system and assessed individually. Their graves remained hidden for decades and were uncovered only after Lithuania restored its independence. Today, 28 September, is Tuskulėnai Victims’ Remembrance Day.

Współtowarzysze niedoli, których w przyszłości czekają podobne katusze, rozcierają nogi i ciało nieszczęśliwemu, w ten sposób wzajemnie się ratując. Ci wszakże, którzy siedzą pojedynczo, w osobnych celach, po kilkorazowych torturach lodowych tracą władzę w kończynach, nie mogąc chodzić, pełzają na czworakach, wreszcie umierają z wycieńczenia. Porucznik Raczyński z 5. Dywizji polskiej został w ten sposób zamęczony w Krasnojarsku”.

Some of the most effective soldiers in the Korean War walked on four legs, went out ahead of everyone else into the darkness, and could smell an ambush before any human knew it was there. They were the scout dogs, and one of them, a German Shepherd named York, led a hundred and forty eight combat patrols without losing a single man. Night patrol in Korea was terrifying work. Small groups of men crept out into no man's land in the pitch black, hunting the enemy or screening the line, never knowing when they might walk straight into a hidden machine gun, a waiting ambush, or an infiltrating enemy squad. In that blind, nerve shredding darkness, the Army had a secret weapon that the enemy could not fool. A dog's nose and ears. The 26th Infantry Scout Dog Platoon was the only active scout dog unit to serve in the Korean War, and over two years its dogs and handlers took part in more than fifteen hundred combat patrols, almost all of them at night. A trained scout dog walked point, out front, silently alerting its handler to the scent or sound of the enemy long before a person could detect anything, freezing, ears up, nose working, giving the patrol precious seconds to stop, take cover, and avoid the trap. It worked so well it is almost hard to believe. The dogs of that platoon were credited with cutting casualties among the patrols they led by around sixty five percent. Two out of every three men who might have been killed or wounded came home instead, because a dog was walking ahead of them in the dark. York was the most famous of them, a German Shepherd who ran an astonishing one hundred and forty eight patrols and never lost a man on any of them. Others, with names like Arlo and Champ and Hasso, had their own legends. Arlo is credited with saving his entire patrol from walking into a certain ambush. These dogs earned real decorations, and the platoon as a whole was showered with Silver Stars and Bronze Stars for the lives it saved. They are one of the loveliest and least known footnotes of the war. In a conflict full of terrifying new machines, jets and tanks and artillery, some of the most reliable protection a frightened young soldier had on a black Korean night was a dog padding quietly ahead of him, nose to the wind, ready to freeze at the first hint of danger and, without ever firing a shot, save every man behind it.

Tas ekonomiski bija ļoti slikts laiks. Tapēc nekā godīga tur nebija. Latvijas ceļa politmaukas to sistēmu uztaisīja priekš sevis, jo viņiem bija lielas algas. 90% parejas tautas bija pilnigi nabagi. Tapēc tagad ir pensionāri ar 40 gadu darba stāžu un 400€ pensiju un ir pensionars ar 44 tūkstošu pensiju mēnesī.

4 марта 2022 года. Русские солдаты убивают и грабят 70-летнего жителя Бучи Владимира Рубайло на улице Яблонской. Мужчина получает огнестрельное ранение, затем русские добивают его выстрелом в голову. После этого та же группа русских военных идет к ближайшему продуктовому магазину и начинает его грабить. В какой-то момент один из выродков замечает камеру и разбивает её мечом (!). Мечом.Мечом! Вы же понимаете что ещё этот выродок делал этим мечом? Преступления российской федерации не должны быть забыты. Это чудовище должно ответить за всё что сделало.
