About all we can realistically hope for now and probably from the beginning of this term is that the fucked up shit gets chipped away. Keeping one house at midterms and the White House in a couple of years would enable more to be chipped away towards the goal. Not sure what the downstream effects would be if they went wild like I’ve often wished for. That’s about as optimistic as I can be while appreciating the things that have been done.
