@PaulKel79494744 you didn't listen to her-she was saying get rid of the need for teachers to be able to speak irish so they can teach, just get teachers in schools who will teach Irish, same way as there are teachers who teach French. Downside, we will have a whole load of non-Irish teachers.

@darrenleckey From 1921 to 1972, Unionist governments in NI took virtually no steps to promote Ulster Scots. It wasn’t treated as a cultural asset or as part of British identity, it was largely invisible. Ulster Scots only emerges as a formal cultural category after the Good Friday Agreement.
