something i've been thinking about: pattern-based codebases. agents go off the rails when a task is an open design question. patterns fix this: one way to define an interface, one way to implement it, dependencies wired through layers, features as vertical slices. the agent extrapolates from existing shapes instead of inventing subsystems. effect makes this practical because so much is built in (DI, tagged errors, services) that whole categories of decisions disappear. and the same consistency that helps agents helps human (we're both context-constrained) alchemy.run by @samgoodwin89 is the one of the best examples i know. the core building blocks are defined once: resources, providers, bindings, and every capability after that is an extension of the same shapes. new provider, new resource, new feature: same pattern, extended forever. that's why things there are one-shottable
