token consumption isn’t equal across different ai providers a singular token can be cheaper at Provider A when compared to Provider B but Provider B does the same tasks for less tokens, so it’s effectively cheaper per task I think we’re going to see a different mode of billing for AI sometime soon, per token is becoming outdated
