Apple just made Docker Desktop optional on Mac. And it is completely free. This is apple/container. 26.5k stars no Github. You can now run Linux containers natively on your Mac without installing Docker Desktop, without a background daemon hogging your RAM, and without paying

@ubdrain Definitely will. I think companies/individuals should start thinking if they can rely on the gpts and opuses. Apparently it takes one decision to block it. The technology definitely needs democratization - probably what the open models have done already

Making an app - not government’s job for sure But building core gov infrastructure id think that is something that should be internalized. Commuication, security, base for all public systems/tools - the gov should build and protect it at all costs.

@ubdrain additionally, private sector in almost all cases works for profit. there are good people everywhere but private enterprises at the end of the day want to maximize profit and in some cases can go (and have gone) to limits for it.
