…not to mention a laundry list of hidden personal events that can trigger a customer to desperately seek human contact at times (slamming 0 or # until a real person finally enters the chat). Without empathy, self service will always result in churn.

@Klarna’s recent rollback on self service reinforces the fact that great experiences are built on empathy. I’m extremely bullish on AI in customer service, but many companies or new entrants to this domain oversimplify the contact center with a "company-first" self-service lust.
