Trend extrapolation is both the most common and least reliable method of thinking if you’re analyzing systems. And the world is a very, very complex system
Does anyone else find themselves consulting AI more and more for breaking news? I like that it can very quickly read ten sources of known bias orientation and help me figure out what actually happened vs how it was spun by any one side

Preventing companies from building data centers in America wouldn't slow down the rate of progress in AI. It would merely slow down the rate of progress in AI in America.
Importantly: the reason these communities have more housing is because they’re actually allowed to build there. If you can build housing, you can build data centers. There is no arrow of causality between data centers and more housing
