This has been our practice for several years now, good to see it confirmed in a trial. Question is, do we need 7 days? Next trial I would like is either a fair bit shorter or adaptive depending on patient condition (and if we could speed up blood culture- pathogen clearance)
This is what I gleaned the working group recognised and will seek to address (1) the infeasibility of training in academia and two medical specialities (2) academia now linked to pay penalties through slower progression and diminished merit awards….
