@WeVennStudios Some relics change how you read the board, not just your stats. They can collect nearby resources, turn hazards into counterplay, or help you use neutral tiles that affect both sides. So mid-run, your strategy can shift from avoiding danger to using the board against enemies.

@WeVennStudios Thanks! The core loop is turn-by-turn decision making. You draw a path on the hex grid, decide which enemies to hit or avoid, then use fight rewards to shape your build with relics and upgrades. My goal is to make every turn feel like a meaningful tactical puzzle.

@PlayGameGen I’m designing Hexborne so that every turn asks the player to think carefully and make meaningful strategic choices. Player feedback means a lot to me, because I don’t think I can make a truly good game from my perspective alone. Your kind words really encourage me.

@justff777 exactly — once a board becomes a memorized route it stops being a decision. the moving zones are there to keep the read alive every turn. also really into what you're making — a cat companion woven into the combo strings is such a great hook. cheering you on.

@justff777 Hex kills the diagonal ambiguity of square grids—6 uniform neighbors mean every threat range is a clean ring. So kiting stays readable: where you end your path matters as much as what you match. And enemies reshape the board every turn(fire, poison, traps), so 'safe' keeps moving
