2026 is about being a better trader, not a gambler. How do I become more of a trader instead of being a degen you ask? 1. Risk management Risk management is about survival first, profits second. Never risk more than you’re willing to lose on a single trade. This means using position sizing, setting invalidation levels, and not going all-in on any one idea. One bad trade should never be able to wipe you out. Staying in the game is how you win long term. 2. Dollar cost averaging (DCA) DCA removes emotion from investing. Instead of trying to time perfect bottoms, you invest a fixed amount at regular intervals. When price is down, you buy more; when price is up, you buy less. Over time this smooths your entry price and protects you from impulsive decisions driven by fear or hype. 3. Take initials after a 2–3x for a risk free trade Once a position has doubled or tripled, pulling out your initial capital locks in safety. At that point, you’re playing with house money. This reduces stress, eliminates downside risk on the trade, and lets you hold the remaining position longer without emotional pressure.
