hs is constantly being criticized, you blame him for everything, twist every situation to make him the villain, even hold him responsible for other people’s actions. no matter what happens, somehow you always find a way to make it about him some of you are really just looking for any excuse to hate him. you claim you don’t care about him, yet you can’t stop talking about him. if he really didn’t matter to you, you wouldn’t spend so much time bringing him up, you wouldn’t watch, post and obsess over everything he does the problem is that some of you have already decided he’s guilty, so you interpret everything through that lens. you call everything a “shade”, but that’s just your interpretation. you don’t actually know what was meant, what the context was, or whether there was any hidden meaning at all, but you immediately choose the most negative one because it gives you another reason to hate him why? because he wants to make music? because he chose to follow his dream? because he’s passionate about what he does? maybe instead of obsessing over someone you supposedly dislike, you could put that energy into supporting the artists you actually love? he doesn’t owe explanations for every misunderstood moment and he certainly doesn’t deserve to be hated for trying to do what he loves he’s a human being before he’s an idol

[PLEASE READ 🚨] As a fanbase, we think it’s important to acknowledge the bad as well as the good. While our account exists to support and celebrate EVAN, we can’t ignore the amount of harassment he’s faced since leaving ENHYPEN on March 10th. Over the past 3 months, he has become a target to endless bullying and harassment. Hate tweets about him regularly reach tens of thousands of likes, encouraging others to join in on the hate trains . He’s been mocked for his appearance, sent death threats, had AI-generated deepfakes and gore edits made of him, and has reportedly been added to kakaotalk group chats where people shared this content to him firsthand. Whether you support him or not, there are limits to the amount of hate a person can receive, and this has exceeded that limit. There’s a huge difference between not liking an artist and spending months bullying someone, creating degrading content about them, or encouraging others to harass them. At that point, it stops being criticism and becomes targeted abuse. Behind every idol is a real person with real feelings. No career decision should result in someone being subjected to this level of hatred. The normalisation of this behaviour has gone far beyond fanwars, and it’s something that shouldn’t be ignored simply because the target is a public figure. We’ll continue supporting EVAN and celebrating his work, but we also hope people take a step back and think about the impact their words and actions can have. Kindness costs nothing.
