In 2018 Amazon received a big surprise. Its core data about some customers made it to FB. How? You run Facebook ads. You get Amazon sales. Does FB see Amazon data by default? No. Do you get more sales? Yes. Some clever dude created an automation that allows Amazon sellers to send their customer data back to the Meta pixel. Within 2-3 years, there were thousands of brands doing this, with hundreds of millions of ad spend via Google and Meta going to Shopify with spillover sales to Amazon, halo sales, and direct sales on Amazon. Around that same time Amazon launched their own "attribution" program. Pfft, why give data to Meta, Amazon would want to keep its own data... Anyway, it created a big advantage for the FBA and ecommerce sellers. Although Amazon didn't really allow it. It benefited Amazon for more sales, it didn't benefit Amazon in the data war with Meta. Anyway part 2, that dude was me lol it was my software I invented. Was very fun to make the integration work for a few years (before the gap was entirely closed). This is the same thing. Big data battle. Likely some workarounds to make anything work.

OpenAI is close to releasing their answer to Grok Bot: a product I'll tentatively call Codex Bot, based on OpenClaw. This is what OpenClaw founder Peter Steinberger worked on after being hired by @OpenAI. Release was planned for this week, but was postponed to next week instead.
