No you're wrong. The trend of women going into higher education is still a statistical net destruction of fertility. The data bears out cross culturally, globally. Just because a small handful got a wealthy guy and they ended up with one more than they might have had otherwise, doesn't mean the group as a whole ends doesn't up with less, because around half have none. If 80% of women have a fertility rate of 2.6 and 20% have one of 0, then the TFR is around 2.1. But if only 45% have a FR of 2.6, 5% have one of 3.6, and 50% have 0, then TFR is 1.36. 0 causes more damage if it's not more than an outlier occurance, which it's not. It's such a common occurance that the species is facing collapse.

No, no it doesn't. Again, those are wealthy households. They represent the top 1-3% of households. There was an article in the WSJ about a decade ago that said having more children was a new status symbol for wealthy families. But even then it wasn't more than 1 or two extra children, and this was in the top 5% of households. That maybe raises the TFR by 0.1, which says the problem hasn't changed. France has THE BEST family benefits in the planet and still far below replacement. The problem is women make more and price themselves out of what their sexual market value equivalent is cause they no longer find their equal valuable (cause the women were given resources). Assortative mating REQUIRES women pick a man out of necessity. If she no longer believes she needs him, then the odds are she doesn't reproduce because there aren't enough of the men she wants, to go around. The only other option is the wealthiest men getting 3-4 wives each. But then that man won't have the same time to devote to the children and the women will have to quit working to dedicate all of her time with the children. So once again, it's simply not possible to get what you want. You're reading what you want from the data, not what it states.

That data is "wealthy people have more children", NOT highly educated women. The actual facts remain, the more resources women have, the fewer children they have on average. It's the MEN that cause them to have more. When resources are given to men, they have more children. You just took from that study what you wanted, NOT what the data presented.

False. They get shoehorned into a thing with no practical application or where they're simply out competed by another. Also, the road to an actual payoff is too long. Medals only get you so far. Money and women matter more once puberty sets in. If the payoff is effectively worthless after a decade of work, then most people give up. Also, the school system is setup to waste more of their time by requiring them to stay in longer than is necessary for them to finish. Another reason most stop trying. The absolute smartest should be done with k-12 circulum by around 12 years old. Undergraduate should be finished at 16. By 23 (the time most get the first job), the gifted people should be moving up to senior level positions. The system is designed for the lowest common denominator and destroys the gifted.

This is coming in line with what I wrote about prior. The most economically valuable work is still being run through the frontier labs vs open source. I have started trying Venice for the privacy and it feels good enough to replace my generic stuff that I used search engines prior to the LLMs. For complex work in planning and orchestration, I still use frontier models as they're simply better and faster. Most use of AI will always trend towards economically worthless on the whole. Someone asking AI to write a birthday card is basically negative value once cost is factored in. Asking it to analysis on a cancer biopsy sample is positive value. Nobody is going to utilize Fable for the former but it would for the later simply because of the value of each. The more valuable the work is, the more it's worth to use the frontier model over the OSS model because the cost of time for the OSS model is so high, that it compounds into being MORE expensive than just paying for a frontier model. To be clear, I have subscriptions for Gemini, Chatgpt, Claude, Venice, and Grok. They each have their different use cases.

The Great Filter is simple: Any species that can evolve to build a civilization will have a high investment into their young by both parents. Any civilization advanced enough will get the non child bearing sex to believe that the child bearing sex operates like themselves, making them "equal" in society. When the species is advanced enough to spread this misunderstanding throughout the entire species in a short time (within two generations), the entire species collapses, regressing socially and technologically.
