@dustatron Yep, that works. But doing it this way is technically more efficient for large strings (O(n) vs O(n^2)) and apparently that’s all that matters at FAANG.

For the record.. when I got my offer @Google I :::now::: know I was under-leveled and significantly under paid.. but at the time this low income black girl living in Baltimore with poor parents and siblings would have NEVER negotiated for fear of losing the offer

Second #Ruby function in the books. I’m not sure which is more idiomatic between saying return result or just putting result at the end. Just putting a random variable as the last line of a function feels weird.

Spent a while splicing an old Xbox cord with a USB cord to connect a DDR pad to the PC. It’s been a while since I did any kind of hard mod on electronics.

@CBielstein Hey, if it works it works! I’m waiting on Amazon to deliver a new adapter that *hopefully* will work, putting my 2 hours of wire stripping and taping to no use. Apparently pressing up and down at the same time is a luxury.
