Jim Edmonds has been known for his several marriages, and also for accusations of abuse by one or more of his ex-wives. The accusations alone may have deterred some voters.

@JohnMilner51 @AugieNash They already did that last year. The plan this year is to give the younger players a lot of rope. Remember, this season was not supposed to be about winning at all costs, but rather about developing the younger players here without their having to worry about being sent down.

@conservativStL @AugieNash Contreras has a long history of hitting well, and he's not that old to suspect age is the problem. Giving him more time is the right move. He's also the best choice now for regular time at 1st base. It does look like we might have done well to resign Goldschmidt, though.
