Saka has a level of maturity about him which keeps Arsenal retaining the ball. At times his composure, the way he strides is reminiscent of what Ozil used to bring. Level of decision making beyond his years.

@Blahovic Mkhi and Ozil tucking in and taking it in turns to be the furthest man forward as soon as the ball makes its way forward. We really need Mkhi to stop being so sloppy.

Fabinho looks totally out of his depth here. Both physically and technically doesn't look as clean as he did at Monaco. Premier League's intensity showing.

@DerWechsel Yeah that is true, you still need a man to pull wide. Iwobi coming on for an overlapping LB changed the dynamic but that's what the game required. Do feel Niles at LB would be a better starting option if Monreal isn't 100% just because of his ability to step into midfield.

We desperately need Maitland-Niles fully fit and playing at LB. Careful use of the ball, athletic ability, 50/50 edge and burst to follow all being missed.

@AndreKurniawann Yeah it was a smart call as it added a player who is direct but also another number in midfield. Changed the dynamic bring a CM on for a overlapping LB.

Joe Gomez has been phenomenal with the ball. Nothing more valuable than a CB who can slow time down, step out of pressure and find a pass. Liverpool have 2 in Van Dijk and Gomez.

Lacazette with a better all round game performance so far than Firmino. Associative play and subtlefirst time touches to progress the play have helped Arsenal maintain pressure.

Lucas Torreira's habits and practises when Arsenal are disorganised has been such an asset. Subtle touches, restarting the play, forward pressing before playing to the man in space. Valuable addition.

Lacazette against Evans/Amartey/Maguire is easy work for the latter but introduce a player like Ramsey/Auba in the second half and there is guaranteed to be 1/2 big chances.
