Ben Stokes has probably got too many moments to celebrate in his career, here are some. • Never lost a test series at home. Rare set of players. • One of the 3 players in test cricket, to have scored 7000+ runs and have 200+ wickets. • The Man of the Match of the 2019 finals, England's first 50 over World Cup win. • 2nd fastest double century in test cricket • 52* in the finals of the T20 World Cup 2022, in a winning cause. • Fastest 250 runs in an innings in test cricket. • Scored 100+ runs twice in a session in test cricket, including 130 runs at Newlands. Cannot keep Headingley 2019, out of the fray. One of his most heroic performances, and probably one of the best innings in test cricket, this century. Stokes is one of those characters, who will either receive praise from a certain section and either too much flak, but he will be a character remembered for a long long time. Wishing you the best for your future endeavours.
My advice to all salaried guys, once you hang up your boots & rely only on your investments, make sure your income tax is 0. Talk to a CA. Don't pay a single paise to govt. Once I retire, my parents, me and my wife will earn 12L each. Ham logon ne desh ka theka lekar nahi rakha.

This is something you should definitely know. If you were never used to worrying about your CIBIL score, it is high time you started focusing on it. There is a huge structural shift happening. In alignment with global best practices, the RBI is moving towards the 'Expected Credit Loss' (ECL) framework. This is a huge subject. I'll tell you what is relevant to you as an individual borrower. So far, a loan was considered clean as long as the EMI was paid on time. If your credit score is below 730, it is going to be mandatory for banks to create significant provisions. This ranges from 12 month provisioning to even full lifetime loss provisioning. Banks must continuously track SICR (Significant Increase in Credit Risk). Interest rates will be high for credit scores below 730 because provisioning and compliance costs for banks are going to be high. Especially for unsecured loans like personal loans, consumer loans, and credit cards - banks are already reworking their algorithms. Nothing will be automatically approved if the score is less than 730. The new norm will be manual underwriting, lower credit limit assignments, or outright rejections to protect the bank's forward looking credit parameters. Since borrowing from banks themselves will become expensive, you can expect the same with NBFCs and other similar entities. You can no longer ignore your credit score. It matters a lot.

Standard of living is high when you buy using huge EMI costly cars or villas or Holiday. Quality of life is high when you without EMI buy what you can afford. Peace improves “Quality of life”.
I don't really get this constant scrutiny of Root's stature as a test great. Earlier it was about scoring 100s in Australia, then about his records vs Cummins, Bumrah, then hundreds vs scored in games where Cummins and Hazlewood weren't featuring. Brian Lara never scored a test 100 in India, ( yes he didn't play too many tests here), but that doesn't undermine his greatness. His only 100 in New Zealand was against a modest attack but that doesn't undermine his greatness. Similarly Dravid's only 100 in Australia, that iconic 233 was against an attack not having both Warne and McGrath but that doesn't undermine his greatness. Ricky Ponting had a pretty poor record in India as a test batter, but that doesn't undermine his greatness. Out of Root's 41 test 100s, 19 have been scored against India and Australia, arguably two very solid test teams during his career span, which I believe is a fair record. I am not comparing him to Sachin, Smith or Bradman, but the nitpicking around his stature as a test batter really needs to stop.
