As a centrist Republican, I value your sane perspective as a centrist Democrat @RahmEmanuel. The Supreme Court just allowed the type of gerrymandering that Democrats have performed years. Why don't we have a discussion what is fair. I'm not sure I even know in the era of big data.

Maybe put the emphasis on proposing a sensible plan for gerrymandering. In a multi-cultural environment like our current USA, does every minority get a dedicated district? Are Hispanics disadvantaged? Asians? Somalian Americans? Maybe the answer is sitting down and figuring out what's fair for all--in the Southern states and the Northern states and the Western states. Explain to me your vision---beyond just African Americans in the South.

Nobody has a pension any more except state and government workers. You might want to target those jobs. Social security will also be there for you. There are so many 1st time homeowner programs. One of my kids was going to buy a home (and was offered about $180K and a 6% mortgage and kid makes what you do). Check out the bank programs. You may have to start in a condo depending on your area but you can build your way up. And, it may need to be a fixer upper -but I look back at fixing up my first home as one of the best times of my life. You can do it.

@holisticbaddie Look at the people whining on tiktok trying to sell their lab grown diamonds upon divorce. Just realize they have no value. Maybe just don't do diamonds at all? Or, just know that you're spending on a really good facsimile (and that you will never get your money back out?).
