The reason why RAM has become four times more expensive is that a huge amount of RAM that has not yet been produced was purchased with non-existent money to be installed in GPUs that also have not yet been produced, in order to place them in data centers that have not yet been built, powered by infrastructure that may never appear, to satisfy demand that does not actually exist and to obtain profit that is mathematically impossible.

Reporting about AI coding has descended to the level of reporting about nutrition science. Coffee both causes and prevents cancer, and AI coding both increases and decreases productivity. It's soothing to have reached this point; all these headlines can now just stream past me.

@fortnightlysara With a good story, you have to CAPTURE the attention of the reader and HOLD it. But that's not enough, you also have to deliver a sudden TWIST. It's exactly the same when it comes to breaking a nose with buttcheeks.
