Het risico dat je loopt is om ergens een limiet in een BGP sessie te triggeren, en dan gaat je verkeer naar overal wegvallen. Bij telenet bv. 8207 /24's IPV 92 grote prefixen.
Busy day on the internet today as AS3356 seems to be having a seriously rough day. This graph shows my inbound rate of BGP updates (for my site bgp.tools) from various feeds on the internet, lots of route churn today.
@DieterCastel @vanhoefm @bertvandepoel @Telenet Geen idee, maar ik vermoed niet bad actor. Centurylink trok de routes niet in, wat wel zou moeten gebeuren. Nu kan je zelf altijd wel je routes splitten en als more specific's via andere upstreams announcen, maar dat kan weer andere problemen geven.
@vanhoefm @bertvandepoel @Telenet Dit is inderdaad het probleem. Link met centurylink lag eruit. Momenteel ziet het eruit dat het hersteld is en de pakketjes lopen weer vrolijk. Hetzner gebruikt traffic engineering, en verkeer in/out-bound v4/v6 is asymmetrisch en kan verschillen van transit.
