In the coming decades, the global pig industry will face several challenges, in particular emerging and re-emerging diseases. Such issues will be discussed during IPVS2022 Rio de Janeiro. Access the link ipvs2022.com, and follow our social networks.
The IPVS2022 will be held in Brazil, on June 2022, in Rio de Janeiro. The city will be the stage for the world's most important event of the swine industry, and is the Brazilian tourist attraction most desired by visitors from everywhere. See details on ipvs2022.com.
Due to the pandemic, the 2020 edition did not occur. To end this cycle, the organization promoted, on November 3rd of last year, a virtual event to launch the IPVS2022 edition. The event is available on our YouTube channel: n8qhg.app.goo.gl/RzZC
IPVS - International Pig Veterinary Society was founded in 1967 and held its first congress in 1969 in the city of Cambridge/UK, with about 500 participants. Since then, 25 editions have been held around the world, inluding in Brazil, in 1988.

Addressing the new perspectives of the swine industry in biosafety, production and innovation, the IPVS2022 will bring to professionals of the global swine industry the perfect environment to increase their knowledge.
The topics discussed at IPVS congresses become more attractive each year. With the globalization of the pig industry, debates on ways to control disease transmission between countries and continents have received great prominence.

Over the last 50 years, the IPVS congresses gathered more than 40,000 participants and delegates had the opportunity to discuss around 25,000 scientific papers. Many solutions have been found to improve modern swine production, making it more economic, productive and robust.
Em seus 50 anos de existência, os congressos da IPVS já reuniram mais de 40.000 participantes que tiveram a oportunidade de discutir cerca de 25.000 trabalhos científicos. Em todas essas discussões, muitas soluções para melhorar a produção de suínos foram encontradas.
The IPVS takes place every 2 years to discuss the work of the international scientific community, bringing together professionals from the world’s pig industry. Technical-scientific advances are presented to help in the most assertive solutions.
