Different robotic models are useful for different things. We will not have the same paradigm as we do with LLMs (largely one way to train and finetune the same architecture), because the models are multimodal. Visual language action models can be improved in certain ways if you remove the language layer, for example trajectories. Steerability is affected though. So that’s already one tradeoff. There will not be one winner
