@levelsio I talk to devs all the time that say AI is not good. like they tried it 6 months ago on the free tier and it wasnt so good, or that they dont use it in their company or they only are allowed to use a specific ai vendor... karpathy is right: x.com/karpathy/statu…

Dusting off this tweet from April because this gap in shared understanding of LLM capability is *widening*. It's now less "two groups of people speaking past each other" and more a sharp funnel. - Napkin math somewhere around 6B people (~75% of the population) have barely come

@LombardGoon Central African Mbuti Pygmies to New Guineans is 0.46, which is more than many species boundaries... its a political topic, not a scientific topic tho at this point. Post WW2, no one wants to measure the differences between humans, and hereditarians are ostracized academically

@hispanicnomad selective migration effect >> selective emigration effect imo... to explain the differences. And gene–culture coevolution effects imo are similar scale to selective emigration effect but less than selective migration effect.

@levelsio @OECD Eh, I've lived in UK and Germany. Was earning 100k pounds/year, 120k euros. I would save about 50k pounds a year in UK and almost nothing in Germany. It's also worse contractor structure and worse capital gains. Looking back, what a waste of time financially, living in Germany.
